Nacional dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Paisas ' 30. They outrebounded Paisas 49-25 including a 35-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nacional looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Connor Zinaich (201-1997, college: Nova SE) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. American-Dominican center James Feldeine (193-1988, college: Quinnipiac) chipped in 17 points and 5 assists. Five Nacional players scored in double figures. Bolivian-American swingman Josh Reaves (193-1997, college: Penn State) produced 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Brandon Weatherspoon (193-2000, college: FAU) added 22 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
